Query Result List Block – the records of a query as a list¶
The Query Result List Block shows the records of a query as a list: every record is drawn with the preview form of a list definition. Toolbar, grouping, sorting and quick filters come from the list definition.

2. Settings¶
In addition, the widget has the settings every widget has.

| "Query" | The query that supplies the records | none – required |
| "List" | The list definition that decides how the items look and behave. Use a list of the same entity as the query. | none – required |
| "Form (legacy)" | An older way to choose the form of the items. Ignored – leave it empty and use "List". | none |
3. Behaviour¶
- The list works as described in Lists: paging, quick filters, the sort dropdown of its filter, selection, toolbar and export.
- A click on an item opens the record.
- With "Auto Refresh" the items are loaded again at the interval.
