Scroll Strip Block – one line that scrolls¶
The scroll strip places its widgets in one line that scrolls instead of wrapping. What does not fit stays reachable with the mouse wheel, by dragging and with arrow buttons. A fade at the edge shows that the line continues.

1. At a glance¶
| Purpose | A row (or column) of widgets that scrolls |
| Typical use | A row of cards or pictures that must stay one row however many there are |
| Related | Horizontal Stack – wraps instead of scrolling |
2. Settings¶
In addition, the widget has the settings every widget has, except "Auto Refresh".
| Setting | Meaning | Default |
|---|---|---|
| "Vertical" | Scrolls up and down instead of sideways | off |
| "Scroll Buttons" | Offers the arrow buttons. They only appear on the side where there is something left to scroll to. | on |
| "Scroll Step" | How far one press of an arrow button moves the strip, in pixels | 160 |
| "Gap", "Align Items", "Justify Content", "Is Container", "Container Id" | Layout of the widgets, as for a stack | none, Default, Default, off, none |
3. Behaviour¶
- The strip only scrolls while it is too small for its widgets. "Justify Content" only has an effect while everything fits.
- A vertical strip limits itself to 240 pixels of height, because nothing around it gives it a height. Set a "Size" (height or maximum height) for the height you want.
- The strip does not refresh itself.
4. Example¶
Recently changed projects. A scroll strip with "Gap" 12 inside a repeater or with a series of
cards of a fixed width, for example 260 pixels each.
